When Harriet Adams, the Owner of Integrated Therapy, LLC reached to CBS in 2014, she knew what she wanted from a Billing company. Integrated Therapy (a leading Aquatic Therapy provider) was a fast-growing company and required a Billing company that would keep up with the growth, billing needs, and most importantly a company that would manage patient billing needs and questions.
The Initial Meeting is a great way for both teams to meet, discuss and understand the client’s needs. Integrated Therapy’s challenges were as follows:
As Aquatic Therapy providers, therapists needed a software solution that would be easy to complete notes and get billing codes for claims to be submitted while in between treatment sessions in pools. Each new provider joining the group required to be credentialed and existing providers required credentialing maintenance. There was AR clean-up needed as well.
Working with the client’s team, we found a great EHR software, that the Therapists found easy to work with and it ensured correct coding and documentation which drastically reducing billing errors. We added a billing system that enabled us to go fully electronic in billing transactions. This cut the time it took to bill and get payments and complete all transactions. Enrolling in ERA’s and EFT’s cuts on AR days improving revenue flow.
Our Credentialing team performed a credentialing check-up on all providers and completed credentialing for all providers and updated all locations to ensure there were no demographic discrepancies with the insurance companies. This is also important because patients use these directories to find practices and locations. This is always an ongoing service for new and existing providers that we provide.
The Billing team started working on the AR and updating ongoing billing. Any issues were discussed with the client’s clinical team to ensure they were aware of any coding issues. This is also an important part of Billing services and we always discuss any changes or updates in coding guidelines with the clinical team.
We provided the client’s office with a dedicated phone line for patients to call if they have any questions or questions regarding their billing. The staff at the client’s office do not have to worry about these calls anymore.
Integrated Therapy has grown to be the largest Aquatic Therapy provider in the Southeast with over 30 locations in GA, NC, and FL. Our shared values have led to a successful 7-year partnership with many more to come.
